Old friends share their love of the Catskills at the First Annual Catskills Fiber Festival! Michele Armour and Rob Bruce of Rosehaven Alpacas in Bethel, will be one of the participants in the first annual Catskills Fiber Festival. It’s scheduled for September 15 and will be held at the Catskill Distilling Company. Residents are invited to take a selfie with the alpacas and also see sheep and angora bunnies, as well as learn a lot about fiber crafts.
The event’s website says, “There will be lots of demonstrations from needle felting, peg looms, floor looms, drop spindling and spinning. Get some one-on-one time to talk to the experts.”
